This position will have substantial responsibility for the direction and control of 1) Global Business Center sustainability and supply chain initiatives including the launch of several new federally funded grant programs that will add to the national understanding of global business issues in these fields as well as improve the application of strategies to address them 2) Federally-funded grant programs designed to support the expansion of global business research and teaching including the Global Faculty/PhD fellows, Global Research Seminars, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and Business Language Instructional Resources. 3) Assessment and evaluation of the Global Business Center's progress toward goals, particularly the goals aligned with federal grant funding 4) The Visiting Scholar Program which serves approximately 15 sponsored faculty annually from top research institutions outside the U.S. These scholars need support with securing visas and integrating into a U.S. academic institution and U.S. culture. 5) Global Business Center Operations including Salesforce migration, finance transformation, office management, budget management, event management, advisory board support and student assistant hiring, training, and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, or similar and a minimum of three years with program/project management in a business or non-profit organization.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
